Veterans Hospitals and Outpatient Clinics using the AB-Inforcer

West Los Angeles, California:   VA Medical Center:  Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Services (PM&RS) Department,  Wellness Clinic, Back School & Lumbar Stabilization Program, Amputee Clinic

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:  Within the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Services Department we offer a Back School Program and an advanced Lumbar Stabilization Class for Veterans suffering from chronic back and neck pain.  The purpose of the Back School Program is to educate patients on the proper use and care of the back.  This program may be used for prevention of injuries, as well as rehabilitation.  The Therapists in the Wellness Clinic cover topics such as the multiple causes of chronic low back pain including: poor posture/muscular imbalance, improper lifting/body mechanics, strength and flexibility of the key musculature involved with the back, adhesions or scar tissue aka trigger points restricting flexibility and muscular strength, stress and poor diet/reduced nutrients to support healthy joints.

The Back School program is once a week and concentrates on back education such as anatomy of the spine and related musculature, correct body mechanics, posture and then progressing to beginning stretching and strengthening exercises of the back. We commonly see between 10-15 Veterans each week for this program.

The Lumbar Stabilization class is 2x/week for 4 weeks and emphasizes the importance of back stabilization exercise, intermediate stretching/strengthening exercises, postural analysis, correction of postural deficits and practical application of body mechanics.  We generally see between 8-10 Veterans each class.

The Veterans attending these programs are unfamiliar with how to attain and maintain a ìneutral spineî during stretching and strengthening exercises.  Since the introduction of the AB-Inforcer Core Biofeedback training system, we have seen a vast improvement in the number of patients independently demonstrating proper spine stabilization, posture and body mechanics within our program.  Without the physical biofeedback from the AB-Inforcer, patients find it difficult to understand (from a verbal description) how to mobilize the pelvis and maintain abdominal bracing throughout the exercises.

Navy Seals Core Training

San Diego, California:  According to the Director of Strength and Conditioning, Director of Rehabilitation Services, and Medical Services Department/ Human Performance Program, much research has been conducted on Boat Team members identifying numerous causes facilitating not only connective tissue failure but chronic low back pain.

"This comprehensive evaluation is the first step in identifying structural weaknesses/deficits that must be addressed first and foremost within a properly designed strength and conditioning program.  Learning proper mechanics of all structural resistance training exercises is paramount to strengthening the spine in addition to corrective exercises to decrease weaknesses found in the initial evaluation.

A section of the strength tests include testing the stabilization of the pelvis.  These simple procedures include testing upper and lower abdominal firing patterns as well as strength/strength endurance.  Currently we use Kendall’s use of manual testing; however, from past testing and usage of the AB-Inforcer with other athletes, the AB-Inforcer is much more “objective” in identifying strength deficits with its feedback mechanisms and electronic readouts.  This objective feedback is imperative to identifying deficits as well as motor learning capacity for pelvic stabilization necessary during High-G Impact Forces sustained on the High-Speed Water Craft utilized in the Navy’s Special Operations (SWCC).  Within the BUD/S community, high work loads and volume of work increases the risk of low back injury substantially.

TPC Saw Grass Pro AM Long Drive Champion: Dr. Jeff Litow, MD.

Dr. Jeff Litow, MD.,

Age 67

“I won the TPC Saw Grass Pro Am Long Drive event in May with a drive of 291 yards. I came to Lee Brandon, CSCS and trained using the AB-Inforcer® and the "simple to complex" Neu-Spine® exercise progressions for less than 6 months and got incredible results."

Dr. Litow continued, "When I met Lee I had some back pain and spine issues, and drove the ball 200-220 (180-200 meters) on a good day.

Now I am out driving myself by 50-90 yards (45-85 meters) in the same conditions, with the same driver/ shaft configuration, on the same hole.

For the first time in my life, I won a Long Drive hole, and I'm only 5'6".

I out drove guys who were twice my weight and size!

Incredible!"

LONGER DRIVES OVER 60? Former Executive Vice President Production, Universal Television's Story

31st Annual Mercedes-Benz Pro-Am Champion:

The winning team from the 31st Annual Mercedes-Benz Pro-Am played at El Caballero Country Club on Monday February 14th. Matt Herman has played in this event for more than 25 years and has been on the winning team 3 times. This year our pro was the LPGA's Jill McGill with whom he has played a number of times. The format was a "shamble" where each player tees off and the team selects the best drive and each amateur player plays their own ball from that point. The pro plays their own ball for the entire round. The 2 best ball scores net (including the pros at scratch) on each hole counted. Par at El Cab is 71. Our team ended up with a winning score of 113 or 29 under par.

Matt said, "I am pleased to report that I played well that day and drove the ball well with several drives in the 240+ yard range(220+ meters) despite it being a cool and windy day. I'm sure our work together (training with Lee Brandon and using the AB-Inforcer) has been a significant contributing factor to my improvement on the golf course."

"I always look forward to our sessions" Mr. Herman stated about training with Lee. I was introduced to Lee Brandon by my chiropractor (Dr. Fred N. Lerner, PhD.,FACO). He continues, "As an avid golfer, I have had back problems off and on for years. My chiropractor was able to provide help of a transitory nature. He told me if I truly wanted to get lasting relief for my back problems and at the same time improve my golf game I should see Lee. I have been working with Lee now for just about a year and I could not be more pleased with the results.

My back and core have gotten stronger and are getting stronger still and my golf game has improved. Before Lee my drives averaged 220 yards(200 meters) on a good day. Now my drives regularly average 240 yards and often longer, up to 280 yards(260 meters). On long par 4's where I used to hit a 3 iron or more into the green I am now hitting 5 and 6 irons and on short par 4's I'm hitting 9 irons and wedges into the green.

My chiropractor (Dr. Fred N. Lerner, PhD.,FACO) had told me there is no one he knows who is more knowledgeable about the mechanics of the back and core and how they relate to the golf swing than Lee Brandon, CSCS and for me the results speak for themselves. Thank you Lee!

The couple met LaLanne - who appeared in living rooms daily on the nationally syndicated Jack LaLanne show - after Harry wrote him a letter in 1974. Sneider wrote that he was disabled in his right leg - due to a childhood injury - but could squat 490 pounds on his left leg.

Injured Body Builder thanks Lee Brandon, CSCS

Santa Monica, California: Abbas Kahn, Professional Body builder and model

" I had a really bad overused tendon in my inner elbow and you had referred me to prolotherapy. I tried everything i possibly could
but Matt insisted that I talked to you because he was confident that you would be able to help. Well Lee, it sure did help me to the utmost! I was
shocked at the difference i felt after my first proplotherapy session. I ended up doing a total of three and ended it off with platelet rich plasma (PRP).
It got me back to 100%!!

I have always loved bodybuilding with such a passion and it has always been a part of my life. When i could not train for over a year it sent me into a whirlwind
of depression. I went from 204 pounds to 170 pounds :( It killed me to see myself go from what so many were used to seeing me as. At the same time, it
really humbled me in the sense that i knew what every so called, "average" individual goes through that might not be the most fit person in the gym or what it feels like to see
someone that is in impeccable shape. I knew what it felt like to be on the other side. It took away the arrogance and, "cocky" personality I use to carry and
shattered it. I now have a very philosophical and honest understanding of what bodybuilding truly should be, an art form, that anyone can achieve. With it
I will never carry myself as if i am above others, EVER AGAIN.

I really want to say thank you for going out of your way and truly helping me out. The hour that we spent that day changed my life and allowed me to do
what i love with such a passion. I hope to be in the Jr. nationals with-in the next three years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Lee!!!!!

“SKATEBOARDER’S ROCK HARD CORE,” MTV's Rob Dyrdek Kicks Azzz

“SKATEBOARDER’S ROCK HARD CORE”

Rob Dyrdek is a professional skateboarder
and co-star of the MTV reality show Rob & Big.

"In my nearly 20 years as a professional skateboarder, I have been approached by countless fitness professionals and kinesiologists claiming to have an innovative piece of training equipment that would forever change the way I trained and strengthened my core. I must admit, at first glance, I felt that the AB-Inforcer® was just another gadget that would tell me things I already knew about my body. Man was I wrong! The AB-Inforcer® is the first and only tool I have ever encountered that not only detects and measures asymmetries in core strength, but can also be used as a tool for everyday training, monitoring progress, and ultimately creating a rock-solid core. I have never felt stronger, and my skating has never been better, and that is in big part due to the integration of the AB-Inforcer® into my daily workouts. I cannot say enough good things about Lee Brandon and the AB-Inforcer®. Thank You!" www.robdyrdek.com
